Abstract

One aspect that characterizes the postgraduate training of health professionals is the individual training plan. This plan should be developed by the tutor of each resident, from the Specialty Official Program, the nature of the context in which the health center is located, as well as the needs and interests of the residents. It is therefore a factor to provide quality educational process for residents. But the proposal of these plans is no easy task, so often the tutors opt for resolving problems or learning difficulties in progress, supported only by the proprietary program established at the statewide. To establish such a plan, it is necessary to carry out a design and planning of it, which involves the development of a number of functions and competences by the tutor for which we don´t know if the tutors are prepared. In this paper, we investigate the practice of tutors. For this end, we has been designed and validated a questionnaire that allows us to obtain information on the daily work of the same with respect to their residents. Our ultimate intention is to make improvements to the design, planning and implementation of individual plans training.
