Abstract

Haar wavelets have numerous applications in the solution of differential equations. This paper presents the proficient Haar wavelet technique for the numerical solution of the one important class of nonlinear partial differential equation. The implementation of the conventional numerical methods has been found to involve some difficulty to observe fast convergence in low computational time. To overcome this, we have proposed Haar wavelet based numerical method using operational matrices. The test problem is presented to reveal the applicability and attractiveness of the proposed scheme.
