Abstract

In this text, the result of a conference held in Bogota, the author reactivates the problem of political emancipation at a time when the end of the great stories, together with all the post-, have closed any possibility of emancipation. But underlying opportunities for liberation in the management of leisure and work times, which are analyzed by Ranciere in light of the idea of intellectual emancipation Joseph Jacotot. The author insists on the need to revitalize this notion within the apparently forgotten ways of resistance. In short, his proposal installs a radical critique of the determinisms that attempt to demonstrate that emancipation is a matter of the past.
