Abstract
For the development of industrial high temperature heat pump, experiments were carried out on cooling heat transfer of supercritical pressure HFC134a flowing in plate type heat exchangers. Measured heat transfer coefficients showed seven-fold to eleven-fold compared with the Dittus-Boelter correlation for tube flow. Based on the measurements, characteristics of cooling heat transfer of supercritical pressure HFC134a were clarified. In addition, correlation of heat transfer coefficient was developed.
