Abstract

This paper deals with the problems of H2 analysis and control synthesis for linear continuous-time parameter-dependent systems. The admissible values of the parameters and their rates of variation are supposed to belong to a given polytope. Based on a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function, which is quadratic on the parameters, we derive LMI conditions for both robust H2 performance analysis and state-feedback control. Both constant and parameter-dependent control laws are developed.
