Abstract
In this paper, H ∞ performance based robust state feedback controller design scheme is proposed for interconnected power system (IPS) with time delay. A linear matrix inequality (LMI) based robust stabilization criterion is derived by constructing suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii (LK) functional in order to get better control performance. At last, an uncertain two-area power system containing time-delays in area control error (ACE) signals is considered as an example to illustrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the state feedback controller.
