Abstract

We consider H <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</sup> -optimal mixed sensitivity design for idle speed control of an automobile engine model [13]. This model is a three-input four-output system containing two incommensurate time delays. We show how to explicitly compute the optimal performance and optimal compensators.
