Abstract

In this paper, the H ∞ filtering problem of switched nonlinear system with linear hyper plane switching surface is investigated. To ensure the stability of error system and guarantee a prescribed noise attenuation level in the H ∞ sense, a filter with state impulsive jump is proposed by solving linear matrix inequality (LMI) and determining an impulsive jump relation for filter state at switching instant. The LMI is derived via Lyapunov function approach and the impulsive jump relation is deduced by both Lyapunov functions and switching surface. Furthermore, the approach is extended to switched nonlinear systems with time-varying uncertainties. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
