Abstract

This paper studies the problem of H ∞ filtering for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy delta operator system with time-varying delay. The time-varying delay is handled by input-output approach. Then a new transformed model is represented for filtering error system with H ∞ performance index. By applying the Lyapunov stability theory and scaled small gain theorem, a criterion of asymptotic stability with H ∞ performance for proposed filtering error system is derived. Based on the criterion, the fuzzy H ∞ filter is designed, which can be obtained by solving a linear matrix inequality convex optimization problem. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
