Abstract

ABSTRACT A new, simple method is presented for estimating reserves and predicting the performance of abnormally-pressured (geopressured) natural gas reservoirs. The method is applicable for reservoirs undergoing either depletion drive or very limited water drive. Reasons for the differences in performance between normally-pressured and abnormally-pressured gas reservoirs are discussed.
