Abstract

Summary This guidance has been a joint venture by the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine to provide an evidence-based approach to vertebrobasilar insufficiency testing before manipulation. The guidance highlights signs and symptoms that should be considered in the light of present research. Evidence to support this guidance is provided. A flowchart to represent the process is included.
