Abstract
The Eleventh Annual IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2015) was held on August 24–28, at Elite Park Avenue Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden. IEEE CASE represents the Flagship Automation Conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and constitutes the primary forum for cross-industry and multidisciplinary research in automation. The conference theme was Automation for a Sustainable Future , a global challenge emphasized at the conference by specific workshops and a number of oral sessions. The focus on sustainability involves energy saving, life science, as well as resource efficiency and reusability.
