Abstract

This paper is about prevention of Faults in the single phase distribution transformers. Generally distributing transformer many factors are present but some factors are very important to protect distributing transformer. Temperature sensor, ultrasonic sensor, voltage sensor, current sensor are used in this work, to measure the readings. These sensors are to sense particular parameters on the transformer. This system is fully based on embedded through GSM. The information is send through particular substation. Some unreachable places, It is very difficult to measure the parameters. This system is very useful to measure and control the single phase distribution transformer. This system is very helpful for electricity board. We can design and implement the single phase distribution transformer at mini prototype model. Large size capacity of 3 phase distribution transformer can be implemented in the future the model. Each and every distribution transformer data’s will collect through this system then fault can be identify and rectify it. Open source Arduino platform can be used to integrate all the sensors.
