Abstract
Pegagan includes one of the wild plants that has a myriad of benefits. Today, Pegagan is primarily consumed as a vegetable salad or used as a spice. Besides, Pegagan is safe and effective that it also becomes a dietary supplement in certain countries. Pegagan medicinal plant as potential biomass is harvested from nature and cultivated to obtain uniform quality. This study aims to obtain the optimal dose of phosphorus for the growth of Pegagan production. The research was conducted in Pasar 1 Village, Medan Sunggal District, Medan City Regency, located at the height of ± 30 meters above sea level, from September to February 2021. The study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with one factor, namely Phosphorus Fertilizer. with six levels, namely: 0 kg/ha, 15 kg/ha, 30 kg/ha, 45 kg/ha, 60 kg/ha, 75 kg/ha. Based on the research, the phosphorus fertilizer application significantly affects the parameters of leaf number, the weight of fresh leaves per plot, and the weight of fresh root plot.
