Growth rates of orbits in non-periodic twist maps and a theorem by Neishtadt

Abstract

We consider non-periodic holomorphic twist maps of the form for α ∈ ]0, 1[ and . Under appropriate assumptions on F 1, F 2 and a primitive of r 1 dθ 1 − r dθ it is shown that , if is a forward complete real orbit of the map.
