Abstract
Single crystals of (Zn,Mn)Se and (Zn,Fe)Se were grown by the modified Bridgman method under argon pressure. The value of x in Zn(1−x)Mn(x)Se was changed from 0 up to 0.53. Zn(1−1)Fe(x)Se crystals were grown with a concentration 0.01<x<0.22. The pressure during the growth process was 5.3±0.1 MPa. The mass losses during the crystallization process were less than 1 per cent.
