Abstract
Ni–In alloy nano-whiskers were synthesized by pulsed laser deposition and post-annealing of C–Ni–In mixture thin films. The growth mechanism of nano-whiskers is explained by the supersaturated liquid Ni–In alloys that were seeping out from a porous graphite thin film.
