Abstract
AbstractIn order to obtain larger NaA zeolite crystals, the influence of starting materials and preparation conditions on the crystal growth has been studied. It is shown that the growth of NaA is most sensitive to changes in the gel composition. The crystal sizes are limited by subsequent nucleation occurring during the crystallization process. At the optimum gel composition, it is possible to grow crystals up to 75 μm in 100–400 ml reactants.
