Abstract

AbstractOrganic–inorganic hybrid perovskite is a wide family in which CH3NH3PbI3 is investigated mostly due to its superior optoelectronic and photovoltaic properties in solar cells. The doping in CH3NH3PbI3 is an effective way to adjust their properties. Fe is chosen as a dopant and CH3NH3(Pb1−xFex)I3 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.6) single crystals are grown successfully. Their optoelectronic and magnetic properties are investigated. It shows antiferromagnetic when x = 0.6 while others show paramagnetic. The photodetector when x = 0.6 also shows best behavior. It is meaningful to design such ferromagnetic photovoltaic halide perovskite and investigate the role of the doping magnetic elements.
