Abstract

The study aimed to examine the dose of urea fertilizer, the inoculation dose of Rhizobium sp., and the doses of phosphate solubilizing bacteria, as well as the interaction between the two in soybean cultivation in saline soils. The study was carried out from July to November 2021 at the Ecology and Plant Production Laboratory, Greenhouse, and Chemical Analysis, Faculty of Animal and Agriculture, Diponegoro University, Semarang. A factorial 3 x 4 Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications was the research methodology used. The dosage of urea fertilizer, with N0 = 100%, N1 = 90%, and N2 = 80%, is the first factor. The second factor is the dosage of Rhizobium sp. and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria that are inoculated, with P0 = No inoculum (control), P1 = 3 g/seed, P2 = 6 g/seed, and P3 = 9 g/seed. According to the research, it can be concluded that Rhizobium sp. and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria, along with urea fertilization, had a significant impact on plant height and early flowering but had no significant on the number of leaves and wet weight of pods generated in saline soil.
