Abstract

A 65-year-old man was referred to the oral medicine department for a painless growing gingival mass of the right mandible that had appeared 4 weeks earlier. The patient reported that the gingival lesion increased in size after extraction of the mandibular right second molar, which had been performed 2 months earlier owing to severe tooth mobility and mild local gingival swelling.
