Groups with the same character degrees as almost simple Suzuki groups

Abstract

Let [Formula: see text] be a finite group and [Formula: see text] denote the set of complex irreducible character degrees of [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we prove that if [Formula: see text] is a finite group and [Formula: see text] is an almost simple group with socle [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text], then [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] is isomorphic to [Formula: see text].
