Abstract

Nowadays boundaries of the organization are liquid, what is reflected in crystallizing the new roles, that are played by the customers, suppliers, competitors or society. Today, undoubtedly flexibility, innovation and quick adaptation to change are core competencies. Therefore it becomes important to be able to recognize these forces, which are responsible for these changes. The one way is to conduct analysis and draw conclusions from multidimensional planes of relations occurring between the organization and its business environment. Precise identification of the participants of the business environment allows to discover the factors which stimulate or inhibit the development of modern manufacturing systems. In this paper author presents the definitions and categorization of stakeholders of the organization. In addition to the typical strategic management way of categorization, author presents identification based on the theory of clans.
