Abstract

Undergraduate tutorials can consist of group projects in which students decide on a subject to address, the way to do it, and an appropriate end product—perhaps a booklet for primary schoolchildren, a role-play exercise or public debate for sixth formers, or a leaflet for the general public. Students choose to impose their highest standards in their work, and enjoy the chance to develop a wide range of transferable and real-world skills.
