Abstract
This chapter reviews the synthesis and characterization of group 6 metal complexes containing metal-carbon sigma bonds with anionic organometallic ligands (e.g., alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, and alkynyl) reported in the literature from 2006 to 2021. This chapter does not describe metal complexes containing metal-carbon sigma bonds with neutral organometallic ligands such as CO, isocyanides, N-heterocyclic carbenes, and pincers. Complexes containing these ligands are summarized elsewhere in COMC4.
