Abstract

The regularities in the formation and distribution of normal annual subsurface runoff values in the summer and winter low-water periods and for the year as a whole are considered for Karelia and its characteristic regions. Correlation analysis is used to assess the correlation between the distribution of specific groundwater runoff and a number of runoff-forming factors considered as basic characteristics for areas with similar physiographic and geological–hydrogeological conditions.
