Abstract

Spectral distribution methods have been used to obtain the ground-state energies and the ground-state proton-neutron occupancies for several f-p shell nuclei using various effective interactions. Available data have been used for obtaining the experimental ground-state occupancies, in order to compare with the results of the calculations. Correlation coefficients between the interactions as well as the norms of the various irreducible parts of the interactions have been calculated.
