Abstract
The results of Groundmagnetic survey around Ogbagba near Iwo part of southwestern Nigeria were presented for evaluation of the subsurface structural analysis in the area, with a view to determine the promising area for hydrological purposes and also competent area for engineering activities. Total field magnetic data was recorded using proton precession magnetometer. A total of ten traverses were established and presented as ground magnetic profiles of varying magnetic intensity which were subjected to both qualitative and quantitative interpretation. The result of the investigation revealed information on the subsurface geological features which were interpreted as the competent and the weak zones within the study area.
