Abstract

The research work proposes a new grounded series R-L impedance simulator employing Current differencing differential input transconductance amplifiers (CDDITAs). The presented circuit consists of two CDDITAs along with single grounded capacitor and single grounded resistor. Some major advantages of proposed design are; (i) All the passive elements used in circuit are grounded. So, circuit is a suitable candidate for on-chip implementation, (ii) The inductive part of the realized impedance is electronically tunable through bias currents, (iii) both Inductive as well as Resistive part are independently tunable (iv) no active and/or passive element matching is required and (v)admirable performance under non-ideal environment. To show the workability and usefulness of the presented configuration a current mode low pass filter (CMLPF) is constructed. All theoretical results are verified by performing simulations under PSPICE environment.
