Abstract

In order to improve the operation safety of high-voltage distribution network and accurately detect the grounding fault of high-voltage distribution network, a grounding fault detection method of high-voltage distribution network based on sparse residual distance is proposed. The sparse residual distance between grounding data sets is constructed to judge the distance between fault data. The transient capacitance current, transient inductance current and transient grounding current are calculated when the grounding fault occurs. It is analyzed that the waveform change of transient capacitance current is the most obvious when the grounding fault occurs. By setting the fluctuation period phase angle threshold of transient capacitor current, the grounding fault detection is completed. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional detection methods, this method can detect the occurrence time of grounding fault according to the current waveform, and can detect the location of grounding fault 100%.
