Abstract

Canine cutaneous histiocytoma is a common cutaneous neoplasm of the dog. A 4-year-old male dachshund dog was referred to a veterinary polyclinic, Bhangrotu, Department of Animal Husbandry, Himachal Pradesh, India, with a small growth at the lateral aspect of the right thorax. The growth was removed surgically and evaluated grossly and histopathologically. After gross and histopathological examination, it was diagnosed as canine cutaneous histiocytoma.
