Abstract
Abstract The city of Groningen, in the north of The Netherlands, hosted the fifth International Topical Conference on Giant Resonances from June 28 to July 1, under the auspices ofthe Rijksuniver-siteit Groningen (RUG) and the Kernfysisch Versneller Instituut (KVI). More than 100 physicists enjoyed the active discussions following presentations by 45 speakers and a well-attended and lively 32-poster session.
