Abstract

This project proposes a single-phase, three-level voltage source inverter for use with a PV system that is based on the Reboost Luo converter. By way of a Reboost LUO converter, the solar system supplies the inverter with the necessary voltage. In order to harvest the maximum amount of electricity from the PV system, the MPPT fuzzy logic method is utilised. Because it makes use of a renewable energy source to generate electricity, the solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation system has been examined as a leading contender for the title of most prominent energy system by power producers all over the world. However, in order to increase total production, a grid-connected PV system with a DC-DC reboostluo converter has been implemented. This converter increases the low level DC voltage produced by the PV panel to a level that is equivalent to the voltage produced by the grid. By utilising a closed loop control method in conjunction with a PI controller, it is feasible to guarantee the operation of the controller and increase the amount of power that can be extracted from the PV panel. A PI controller is assigned to a voltage source inverter (VSI), which removes steady-state error and assists in obtaining the desired grid voltage by analogizing the real power with the reference power. The achieved voltage is then delivered into the grid through the VSI. The direct current (DC) voltage is changed into alternating current (AC) voltage by using this single-phase voltage source inverter. Simulation in Matlab is used to carry out the work for this project.
