Abstract

AbstractA new interpretation of approximate deconvolution models (ADM) when used with implicit filtering as a way to approximate the projective grid filter is given. Consequently, a new category of subgrid models, the grid filter models (GFM) is defined. ADM appear as a particular case of GFM since only approximate deconvolution is achieved.
