Abstract
Delay and energy consumption are basic constraints in transmission of time critical data in Internet of Things (IoT). The efficiency of internet of things network depends upon routing mechanisms. A Grey wolf algorithm based intelligent approach is presented in this paper for energy efficient routing in IoT network. A fitness function is used and simulated in Matlab for energy efficient data delivery in internet of things. Simulation results show that the proposed approach outperforms both artificial bee colony (ABC) and artificial Fish Schooling algorithm (AFSA) in terms network throughput and energy consumption.
