Abstract

AbstractAgriculture is more than just cows and plow. The main aim of the greenhouse monitoring method used in agriculture because of low-cost system to obtain the good yield in the plants irrespective of the climatic condition, rain, and soil condition. It keeps on monitoring continuously and keeps on updating the data (environmental parameters). The rain falls which is unequal distributed leads to the scarcity of water and it creates difficult situation for the farmers. It requires some advanced method for the water irrigation depending on any type of weather condition, soil type, and variety of crops, by greenhouse we can manage the development of the agriculture. We use sensor for the sensing (temperature, humidity in soil, and light intensity). Raspberry Pi and the Internet of Thing (IOT), by this method we can monitor from anywhere based on correct precipitation, efficient transmission, and intelligent synthesis. This research focuses on the automatic monitoring the temperature, soil condition, humidity, and light intensity. Here, we use Raspberry Pi which is programmed and used as the central hub to manage the sensors. This is the web-based climatic condition monitoring all the parameter for the growth of the crops. Later the application is created which is used for the interaction with the greenhouse controller.KeywordsRaspberry Pi-3SD cardLDR sensorDHT11 sensorDS18B20Soil moisture sensorArduino ADC driverLinux OSPython
