Abstract

Based on the Resource-Based View theory, this study explores the impact of Green Human Resource Management on Environmental Performance. Additionally, this study assesses the mediating effect of Psychological Green Climate between Green Human Resource Management and Environmental Performance. Furthermore, it examines how Green Human Resource Management and Green Transformational Leadership combinely affect Psychological Green Climate. Data were collected via a questionnaire from 150 hospital strategic managers working health sector in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Wah Cantt, and Abbottabad. Structural equation modeling using SMART PLS was employed for the analysis. The results confirm that Green Human Resource Management significantly affects Environmental Performance in the healthcare sector and support the hypothesis that Psychological Green Climate mediates the relationship between GHRM and Environmental Performance. The study also finds no significant moderating role of Green Transformational Leadership on the relationship between Green Human Resource Management and Psychological Green Climate.
