Abstract
Abstract A green and eco-friendly one-pot, four-component synthesis of methyl 6-amino-5-cyano-4-aryl-2,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-3-carboxylates in water catalyzed by titanium dioxide (TiO2) is described. Reaction protocol is advantageous over previous methods owing to short reaction time, simple operating procedure, higher yields of product, simple work up procedures affording desired product in good to excellent yield.
