Abstract
The efficiency of energy in cloud computing (CC) is one of the critical and vital parameters for large server-based networks due to CC consuming a great amount of energy and the dramatic energy consumption growth in the area of digital services. Focus on cloud computing energy consumption and efficiency is one of the key issues in a modern data center structure for operation costs reduction and fulfilling the green computing goals. Machine learning plays an important role to optimize the operation of cloud communication to enhance energy efficiency. This paper provides an overview and details of employing machine learning (ML) to propose energy efficiency solutions in the green cloud communication environment.
