Abstract
Unpredictable occurrences have both direct and indirect effects on the day-to-day operations of organizations, and as a result, the environments are always changing. Thus, organizations are compelled to prevail with appropriate and prompt answers, in addition to raising awareness on a global scale about climate change. Green leadership comprises adopting habits that are favorable to the environment, as well as actively pushing and putting into action activities to reduce the effects of climate change and create resilience against it. This chapter gives a fresh look at green leadership to add perspective of leadership style. These are: a discussion of the background in leadership; A brief overview of leadership; Green leadership; Theoretical underpinnings; and Insight into green leadership related to organizational sustainability.
