Abstract
The elements that put our planet in crisis derive to a large extent from the increasing phenomena of human anthropization. Identifying, promoting and preserving a strategically planned Green Infrastructure network (GI) can provide ecological, economic and social benefits. Through the method replicable and flexible, the quantification of the environmental and economic benefits applied on the plans adopted by the Inner Core governances of Boston, the research aims to demonstrate how strategic green infrastructure can lead to territorial adaptation to climate crisis and for smart and sustainable growth of the entire region.
