Abstract : Green Governance is an essential framework for integrating environmental sustainability into policy and decision-making processes at various levels. This chapter explores the theoretical foundations, policy instruments, and institutional roles that define Green Governance. It discusses key concepts such as sustainable development, ecological modernization, and the precautionary principle, and examines the diverse policy tools, including regulatory measures, economic incentives, and collaborative initiatives, used to promote sustainability.
