Abstract
A composite electrical-magnetic coupled metamaterial is proposed which consists of Ω-shaped and helix metal particles. Green dyadic and electromagnetic fields of a dipole radiator in such a composite metamaterial are presented by introducing a set of auxiliary fields. Right- and left-handed circularly polarized eigenwaves, which travel with different velocities and have exponentially-attenuated amplitudes, can be simultaneously excited.
