Abstract

Great White Cody Kucker (bio) Cody Kucker, poetry Something in the river's vexed beyond the torqueof tide returning to the sea, wherefromthis thing must too have come, thrashing likeall's apt to meet a fate of tatters in its teeth. I can't imagine it being anythingbut a Great White, lost beast, enragedat being drawn into a waterbody not its, conned by an awry whiff into this river resembling home but with limits, and so pissed, rather than letting itselfbe carried back to the salt, it berserks forth, vendetta, an effort certainly vain, toward the refulgent pith which lured it hereto devour that lostness, wholly, once and for all.
