Gravity research at Cottrell observatory

Abstract

The main goal of the research at Cottrell observatory is to study the minute changes of gravity as a function of time. A 19-MHz SHE magnetometer has been modified and utilized in the cryogenic gravity meter as a detection module. The theoretical sensitivity is Δg/ g = 1.6 × 10 −13. Some of the pertinent approaches to the proposed research are discussed.
