Abstract

A gravity survey of about 900 sq mi in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, is described. Within this area a positive anomaly of 22 mgals is observed. It is shown that the greater part of this could be accounted for by the presence of a buried intrusion of diabase or peridotite.
