Abstract

Values of observed gravity are given for 32 base stations that were established in Oregon with a LaCoste-Romberg geodetic gravity meter. These stations were tied directly with the international gravity base station at Carnegie Institution, Washington, D.C.; airport stations at Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon; and the Golden Gate Park station, San Francisco, California (see Woollard and Rose [1963] for station descriptions). The accuracy of the gravity measurements is estimated to be within ±0.3 mgal.
