Abstract

For an unambiguous description of the position of a body in space, it is necessary to specify its three spatial coordinates, the time instant, and three coordinates which fix the body orientation in space. This work considers a seven-dimensional space-time in which the gravitational interaction involves all seven coordinates. The equations for the expanding Universe in 7D space-time are considered, and it is shown that the description of its accelerated expansion does not require the concept of dark energy.
