Abstract

In the September issue of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing, Editor, Aysha Mendes, discussed the importance of identifying and discussing end of life as early as possible in a person's illness trajectory. In response, the below letter comments on the points raised and highlights some of the challenges associated with knowing when to begin these difficult conversations.
