Abstract

Three classes of graph have been identified whose eigenvalues occur in the form of reciprocal pairs (λ,1/λ). General expressions for these eigenvalues for each class of graph have been derived in terms of the total number of vertices. Examples are given of the partial or complete eigenspectra of some real conjugated systems (in HMO formalism) using such graphs as subgraphs or factorization fragments.
